MISS SHOW QUEEN

The Miss East London Show Queen has been running for 20 years.  It runs in conjunction with the East London Agricultural Show which takes place at the Gonubie Show Grounds.

This pageant is not the normal beauty pageant, but a very 'down to earth' competition.  The 3 girls who are selected, have to spend their time at the Show Grounds, chatting to the public, getting to know the animals, taking part in the different activities hosted at the show.  The girls also walk around in jeans, tackies and t/shirts, and must enjoy having fun.
